1992 - Present   Research Assistant, KMeD project, Computer Science Dept., UCLA         
          Designed and developed KMeD, a Knowledge-based Multimedia Distributed Database System.	  
          Developed an object-oriented knowledge-based query processor for querying image by content via 
            spatial and temporal constructs for KMeD.	  
          Developed Image Content Modeling Methodology for MR, X-ray, and CT images.  
          Developed a data dictionary for accessing various types of multimedia data.

1988 - 1990   System Administrator, Computing Center of Taiwan Military Academy, Taiwan
          Maintained Wang VS-100 mini computer system with PC connections and developed database 
             programs using COBOL as the host language on WANG PACE.
